Years of travelling, working and living in different parts of the world have shaped my professional, cultural and personal horizons. Close contact with people from a wide variety of backgrounds has taught me to adapt to new circumstances, act flexibly and tackle challenges with a healthy dose of determination.

During my many years as a live marketer at Audi, I had the opportunity to plan, support and actively participate in numerous international driving and brand experiences. These included offroad driving courses on ice and snow in Scandinavia, the Alps and on renowned European race tracks with high-performance vehicles such as the Audi R8, R8 LMS (Le Mans Series) and the Audi RS e-tron GT performance.

I discovered my fascination with driving on sand during an Audi event in Oman. There, I learnt how important the right technique, vehicle control and an understanding of the desert are for safe yet enjoyable off-road driving. Today, I would like to share these experiences – combined with my organisational skills and my passion for extraordinary travel experiences – with our guests.

I spend  European winters in Muscat, Oman. In spring and autumn, I work as a mountain bike guide in Tuscany, Italy, and in between I travel to various parts of the world as a tour leader for a Swiss travel agency.

For me, the desert is far more than just a landscape – it is a place of adventure, freedom and new encounters. It is precisely this enthusiasm that we aim to convey to our guests on our driving courses.

A qualified car mechanic with a passion for driving on the road, off-road and on the racetrack. I repair and modify my own vehicles. Over the years, I’ve learnt to improvise and can manage with just a few tools. 

In addition to living in the USA for a while, where driving is an integral part of everyday life, I underwent training in the Swiss Armed Forces on various vehicles, including the Duro III GMTF, Piranha 6x6, Piranha 8x8 and the Mercedes G-Class. I currently work for an international company, where I come into daily contact with people and cultures from all over the world. 

To this day, I regularly drive both cars and motorbikes; off-road driving, in particular, is great fun thanks to its variety and constant challenges. Through my experience of motorcycling as well as driving large military vehicles, I have learnt to drive attentively, with foresight and in a calculated manner. This also helps me to react in good time in difficult situations and to avoid making hasty decisions.

For me, it is precisely the mountains and the desert that are so fascinating, as they and their geographical features are often underestimated. In my opinion, anyone can watch the Dakar Rally from the comfort of their sofa and offer their comments on it. But actually being on a mountainside or in a desert, facing the challenge and learning to cope with problems in such an environment is something completely different. It is precisely these kinds of places and experiences where you never stop learning and offer you a constant sense of excitement.
